The first person on our planet, Adam is also the first prophet of Islam. After Adam, the journey of Islam continued through other prophets of Islam; Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus are only a few to name. Islam’s final prophet Mohammed was sent as a mercy to whole of humankind. We have not sent you (O Mohammed) but as a mercy for humanity [Qur'an, 21:107]".

And that humanity includes the people of our own homeland, the United States of America.
